AIR-SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
Energy Efficient Heating & Cooling
Heat pumps do not generate heat from burning fossil fuel like traditional HVAC systems. A heat pump is an electrical appliance that extracts heat from a source, amplifies it and transfers it to where it’s needed. Both ground source and air source heat pumps absorb heat from renewable sources. We have to chosen to work with these 2 types to offer only the best in efficiency, safety and durability:
A ground source heat pump, also known as a geothermal heat pump, draws heat energy from the surrounding ground.
An air source heat pump draws heat energy from the outside air into your home or rejects heat energy from inside your home back into the air outside to heat and cool your home.

Heat Pump system designing
How we choose the right heat pump for your home
Every project starts with design, not hardware. For each home we look at:
Air-Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
Air-source heat pumps move heat between your home and the outside air.
Ducted air-source heat pumps
These look similar to a traditional central AC system:
Outdoor unit + indoor air handler
Uses ductwork to distribute warm or cool air
Great option when we’re replacing an existing furnace/AC or building new with ducts
With proper design, modern cold-climate units can handle your winter heating load.
Ductless mini-splits
Ductless systems use small, quiet wall-mounted or ceiling cassettes instead of ducts.
Perfect for additions, finished attics, and over-garage rooms
Great solution for homes without existing ductwork
Can be used as spot heating/cooling or as a whole-home system with multiple zones
We pay special attention to placement and zoning, so you get comfort without drafts or “blowing straight on the sofa” problems. We also can offer super secret installations if you don’t want to see the unit!
